Software Engineer - Encase Information Assurance

EnCase Information Assurance is a judicially accepted solution for internal, legal, and regulatory investigations, providing an efficient business process, cost savings, and defensibility to organizations. A manual process can result in undue burden and expense. With EnCase Information Assurance, however, you take control of your electronically stored information (ESI) using an integrated, planned, systemized, and scalable process ideal for providing a streamlined litigation workflow.

Information Assurance has technical components ranging from scalable job systems, and databases to angular UI’s.

We are looking for talented software engineers to join the OpenText Information Assurance Product Development organization. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the many aspects of the product. You will work across the entire software lifecycle—from design, to development, and through release—using a variety of languages. We are an agile development team with close cooperation across development, quality assurance, documentation, and product management.  If you like the idea of developing products that are industry leaders, you could be a good fit.

You should have the following qualities:

  • Writes thorough tests for all software that is developed.
  • Delivers high-quality software that is scalable, high-performing, and robust.
  • Decomposes work into tasks that can be completed in days rather than weeks or months as a part of Scrum’s framework.

You should have the following set of skills and experience:

  • Recent bachelor’s in computer science or related field
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
  • Proven history of learning and developing code under pressure.
  • Passion for technology and problem solving, where solutions are more important than the programming language.
  • Must thrive in new product environments – those that frequently change and have time constraints.
  • Must love to ship products – and all of the pressure associated with it – not just work on software.

Estimated Base Salary $90,000 - $135,000 USD
