Senior Software Engineer
Location: Western USA
OpenText is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast, energetic team to build cutting-edge internet security applications. We build cloud computing and service applications for consumer, business and enterprise customers worldwide. Join our team and help develop next – generation applications and technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop the backend systems for Webroot Security platform.
- Build new features while improving the high availability, low latency, scalability and efficiency of our customer facing systems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, failure points and develop innovative technology to enable future scalability.
- Enhance features and improve performance based on requirements
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of experience in software development on Windows and Linux development environments
- Experience with programming languages preferably C#
- Experience with scripting languages preferably python
- Experience with SQL Server and MySQL schema, stored procedures etc.
- Experience in API development
- Experience with cloud-based computing preferably AWS technologies
- Ability to work within a team environment and good verbal and written communication skills
