The Opportunity:

The main objective of the Commercial Sales Executive role at Opentext is to assist customers in using information to improve efficiency and increase growth potential.
As a Commercial Sales Executive, you will help customers transform and develop their business to remain competitive in the market.

You will be responsible for Opentext’s Mid-Market account space and will work closely with Solution Consultants and the Partner Ecosystem.
The Commercial Sales Executive will present product solutions to meet customer needs, both for new prospects and existing customers.

Fluency in German is a requirement for this role, but travel is not necessary.

 

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Identify key decision-makers within targeted accounts through prospecting.
  • Build and nurture new relationships to drive direct sales.
  • Act as the point of contact and collaborate effectively with new and existing customers.
  • Use software technology tools to achieve sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Partners selling into their customer base.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or previous training in Sales.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in a large corporate organization.
  • Understanding of strategic, tactical and consultative selling process
  • Clear, articulate, and confident in all forms of communication.
