This position reports directly to our Sr Director of Implementation and Customer Care based in the US and will report into our UK office.
Opentext has acquired Zix.
Zix | AppRiver is seeking Implementation Specialists to work alongside our global teams, serving as a technical resource for the sales force. The right candidate will enjoy working with people and technology, and will have the ability to interact with sales and support teams. They will also possess strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
What you will be doing:
• Demonstrate and conduct walk-throughs for MSP Partners for implementation of Zix | AppRiver Services
• Provide technical and non-technical support regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of Zix | AppRiver services
• Deliver clear and effective presentations to pilot implementations
• Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users
• Work in conjunction with our sales team to ensure prospects enjoy a positive experience while evaluating Zix | AppRiver Services
• Assist Partners with on-boarding of new clients to Zix | AppRiver’s Systems
• Maintain knowledge and hands-on proficiency with all company product lines and major competitors’ product lines
• Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements
• Educate Partners by delivering remote training on the setup and implementation of products, technical knowledge, and best practices
• Create documentation, guides and training materials for Partners, admins and end users
What experience and skills we need you to have:
• Possess knowledge of hosted/cloud email, email security/filtering and email encryption
• Possess knowledge of End Point Solutions/Antivirus Software
• Experienced in information technology, computer environments, networking, troubleshooting, configuration, implementation, and applications
• Have a comprehensive understanding of networking technology – Windows networking, Active Directory, DNS Topology
• Possess work experience with Office 365, Microsoft Windows 8, 10 and Mac OS X
• Possess work experience with mail clients; Microsoft Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac
• Have the ability to work some weekends and after hours
• Have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues remotely via phone/teams/remote assistance programs/live chat/ticket conversation
