Inside Sales Executive - Business Network

The Opportunity: 

 

Inside Sales Executive is responsible for selling to new logos and maintaining existing clients. Presenting Open Text’s products and services to existing and net-new prospective enterprise accounts. They carry their own quotas to grow the business, adding value and revenue retention from within OpenText's sales organisation. 

The purpose of this Inside Sales Executive and Advisor role at OpenText is to help customers use information to grow faster and be more efficient in an increasingly Digital World. The role is part of a global team of highly skilled and entrepreneurial professionals who understand that their customers are experiencing unprecedented change.  

The Inside Sales Executive and Advisor will drive our industry trusted OpenText product line, focusing on our Enterprise Solutions. The Inside Sales Executive and Advisor will help customers to transform and evolve their business by providing the right solution to positively impact the business and improve their most important business processes.  

 

You are great at:  

 

Outbound Prospecting via Outbound cold calling into targeted accounts by working strategically. Identifying your own prospects and key decision makers within the targeted accounts. 

Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients. 

Negotiating client contracts and driving renewals while minimizing cancellations. 

Providing a strong business justification to end-users, while ensuring that the given annual quota is met and exceeded.   

Leading as the point of contact, and more importantly sell and collaborate effectively with new and existing customers.   

Creative solution-oriented individual that can easily identify potential and growth opportunities that others might miss.  

Work collaboratively with Partners selling into their customer base. 

Use software technology tools to drive your sales objectives.  

Flexing your creative skills and exploring new challenges and opportunities.  

Thrive in a challenging ecosystem and lifelong learner who possess a strong desire to achieve.  

 

  

What it takes: 

 

Thrive on being able to identify opportunities through analysis of OpenText’s client base as well as potential new business and market drivers. 

2-5 years existing experience in software sales, ideally in a large corporate organisation. Whilst having a proven record to retain client revenue and grow the exiting / new business. 

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment - only constant is change   

Understanding of strategic, tactical, and consultative selling process 

You are clear, articulate, and confident in all forms of communication.  

Experience, knowledge supporting sales accounts with EDI, B2B within SME market space. Would be advantageous.
