The Role

 

The Business Products, Network & Platform Product team is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join us in a newly created role assisting our Product team in driving our Integrations portfolio within the SMB and MSP market space.

As Product Manager, Integrations, you will be directly involved in new and existing partner integrations and working across our various RMM partners, and internal & external developers globally. Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and our Channel/Partners, you will gain exposure and expertise not only in this space but also within the wider Cyber Security Industry.

Blending aspects of a Product Managers role with Business Analysis, you will be challenged with a variety of tasks in a nurturing and mentoring environment. Examples include parsing, managing, analysing and visualizing data, reporting findings, presenting insights to your peers and leaders, and collaborating with engineering teams, 3rd parties, suppliers and customers.

You may have some limited experience as a Product Manager or a junior business analyst, and your collaboration skills have marked you out as a team player. If you are seeking to enter the Cyber Security Industry with a view to developing your skills and career path into Product Management, this is an ideal opportunity.

Reporting to a Director of Product Management, this role provides candidates autonomy, responsibility, and coaching driven leadership to further develop your skills and career within a positive and mentored environment.

Specific Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Management team by gathering data, conducting market and customer research, understanding the market, customer and operational needs of our RMM & Partner integrations
  • Help the RMM & Integrations team in analysing data and getting to the heart of a problem
  • Partner with other Product managers and development teams to help deliver a unified product experience with input from customers, prospects, analysts, advisory teams and internal product experts
  • Assist the Product Team in feature delivery and lifecycle: research customer/user needs; assist in writing user stories with Agile Team Coordinators
  • Interface directly with customers, partners and the customer support team as needed

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in the Software Industry (Internship or Industry placement acceptable) and knowledge of software product delivery
  • Good communication & documentation skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Highly collaborative approach and outlook
  • The ability to travel - This role may require travel to OpenText offices, customer/partner, and third-party sites/events in North America, Europe, and Asia (5%) in the future.


Desired Skills:

Interest and some experience of any of the following areas:

  • API technologies or some coding skills
  • MSP and RMM/Integration partners and their integration needs
  • SaaS/Cloud computing experience
  • Cyber/Network Security/MSP space experience/knowledge

Endpoint, Network or Web security risks and/or general Cybersecurity threats
