The Opportunity
The Channel Marketing Manager, UKI & Nordics will be responsible for developing the regional partner marketing strategy, focused on driving brand awareness, and generating leads, pipeline, and bookings in collaboration with our channel sales team and channel partners.
The right candidate will have experience of working in channel marketing, from either a vendor, reseller, distributor, or MSP. The candidate will also have a clear understanding of B2B marketing in technology, with strong communication skills, ability to identify marketing opportunities and with a focus on ROI.
The role will report into the Channel Marketing Director, EMEA, and will work closely with the EMEA sales and the channel teams to plan, manage and execute activities to business goals and plans.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop joint marketing plans with our top channel partners, including resellers, distributors and MSPs. Plans must be in align with the overall regional business goals
- Collaborate and work closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) to drive partner programs and the marketing plans
- A key member of quarterly partner reviews, owning and presenting the marketing plan and results
- Manage the MDF program and allocation of funds to partners
- In conjunction with the Global Campaign, Creative and Enablement teams, design and develop pre-packaged marketing campaigns and assets that are made readily available for partners to execute
- Work together with sales and partners to manage and execute reseller, MSP, and end user events and bootcamps
- Track and monitor all marketing activities, always with a focus on generating MQLs, pipeline, bookings, and growth with our partners
- Communicate to partners, ensure that the channel community are kept up to date on the latest products, promotions, and news
- Promote and drive the Partner Program, promoting the benefits and ensuring that the right partners are on board
- Help manage and maintain the Partner Portal to ensure the latest content and assets are available for partners
- Work with partners to develop jointly branded customer success stories that highlight the company, products, and brand
- Work closely with key stakeholders across all Sales and Marketing functions (Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Global Campaigns, Channel & Field, PR & Communications)
- Build a channel marketing community with peers at channel partners
- Be the Channel Marketing expert for the UKI and Nordics region
What It Takes
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience preferably in IT/Technology/Security
- Experience working in channel marketing with proven success and high initiative in the creation and execution of effective channel marketing campaigns and events
- Comfortable in front of customers, business partners, agencies, and management
- Excellent presentation and communication skills: able to present ideas/strategies/products in a clear, concise, and convincing manner
- Experience working on a variety of marketing activities: webinars, events, social media, and other digital tactics
- Must be extremely well organized but needs to be flexible to handle changes in priorities
- Able to work independently and set own priorities
- Being able to communicate with people with different cultures and languages and work in a matrix organization
- Experience of working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Fluent in English
