The opportunity:

 

Help us build a Total Reward capability across the EMEA region. As an experienced reward specialist, you will work on the research, analysis, design, delivery, evaluation and effective administration of reward initiatives providing subject matter expertise in your sub region of approximately 8 countries. Initially there will be a greater emphasis on consolidating our benefit offerings as well as building sustainable plan management, communication and governance models, but will also involve opportunity to become involved in initiatives such as acquisitions, market range development, company car policy, gender equity analysis and total reward country “deep dives”.

 

You are great at:

 

  • Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive benefits package/programs to meet business objectives and keep pace with the changing workforce within the assigned region (EMEA).
  • Deliver M&A integration activities within your region. Including driving further consolidation of legacy acquisitions such as multiple pension plans in Germany.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, benefits contracts and company policies. Complete benefit audits and annual reporting requirements.
  • Co-ordinate the annual plan renewal processes, including evaluation of costs, design reviews, data requirements and communications. Co-ordinate the planning, organizing and delivering the activities related to annual enrollments and changes to existing benefit plan design, processes and OTCI web information pages.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including HR Partners, Finance, insurance companies, third party administrators, consultants and employees to provide quality service, compliance with contract terms and conditions and timely issue resolution.
  • Act as the escalation point for internal and external inquiries relating to reward plans, policies and procedures. Advise management on resolving reward policy issues as well as making process improvements to reduce future risk.
  • Develop and deliver effective communication material/training documentation for new and existing benefit programs, including self service options, intranet content and vendor-based solutions.
  • Research and analysis of group benefit and retirement plans, to ensure the competitiveness of plans through benchmark analysis to identify trends and ensure plans remain market competitive
  • Prepare, analyze and deliver reporting and cost projections to support the recommendation of benefit plan changes and ensure program governance
  • Monitor trends in the business environment and stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Research, analyze and interpret existing and proposed statutory requirements governing benefits plans and recommend appropriate course of action.

 

 

What it takes:

 

  • Experience in HR with a focus on reward.  
  • Experience of supporting either a regional model, Germany or pension plan consolidations would be beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field, or progress towards relevant professional qualification.
  • Working knowledge of local regulations, filing and compliance requirements 
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize in a complex environment with multiple tasks and tight deadlines and with a high degree of change and ambiguity;
  • Ability to think, analyze, work and complete assignments independently, developing solutions with little supervision to achieve results;   
  • Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues;
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through on commitments and deadlines; 
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with some guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills with understanding of the importance of confidentiality; Ability to confidently and comfortably interact with team members and leaders at all levels; 
  • Familiar with and able to apply a variety of the field's (group benefits, retirement plans and compensation) commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. 
  • German or French language skills would be an advantage.
  • SAP Success Factors knowledge an asset
  • comfortable manipulating data using Excel
