Sr. Product Marketing Manager

The goal of Product Marketing (PMK) is to define, demonstrate and communicate the value of OpenText software to drive awareness and adoption with customers, partners and the OpenText salesforce.

Within the Content Services product unit this Product Marketing expert will take the lead to develop strategies to drive adoption and revenue of OpenText Core Case Management. The candidate will also play a supporting role on the OpenText Core Content platform.  This is a global role, and will act as a product evangelist in support of the sales force and channel with the responsibility to recognize and adapt strategies and messages for different regions.





  • Understanding business processes within organizational line of business functions that can benefit from case management and automation
  • Developing concise, compelling messaging and positioning that emphasizes business value and connects with target audiences throughout the buying journey
  • Serving as the product evangelist and communicating product value across all internal and external channels, including sales, partners, media, industry analysts; presenting at customer and industry events; and on digital channels such as webinars, blogs, and social media
  • Working together with internal and external resources to create compelling content to support lead generation, nurture programs, sales and partner enablement, web content and funnel optimization programs (i.e. slide decks, blogs, eBooks, success stories, videos, etc.)
  • Conceiving and executing customer base communications and marketing programs to upsell and cross sell into OpenText’s large base of customers
  • Collaborating with demand generation teams, utilizing data and insights to create and improve strategies that drive traffic to our content, optimizing marketing funnels
  • Ensuring overall sales channel readiness through sales and partner enablement activities
  • Planning and executing the launch of new products and releases which may include strategies targeting new customers for OpenText
  • Aligning with product management to promote key product capabilities to meet current and emerging customer needs
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape to define product positioning that differentiates




  • At least 10 years of marketing experience and a minimum of 5 years in a Product Marketing function focused on enterprise software
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of workflow and process automation, case management and no/low code application development
  • Knowledge of enterprise content management / content services would also be ideal
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, and action plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and aptitude for forging trusting relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Conversant in go-to-market strategies and methodologies
  • Skilled in leading presentations and discussions with industry analysts, business, technical, and sales stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong content marketer
  • Proven ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
