The Corporate Development team threads the needle with strategy between finance, technology and operations driving important initiatives that determine when we partner and our planned growth moves. Our team structure provides the opportunity for outsized impact and exposure with OpenText’s senior business, operations, and technology leaders.

 

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Integration Planning and Execution:

  • Spearhead the development of comprehensive integration strategies that align with OpenText strategic and M&A goals.
  • Lead and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of integration strategies.
  • Executing operational due diligence
  • Develop information and compelling Executive level presentation.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:

  • Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact integration efforts, proposing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, providing hands-on leadership to address challenges and remove obstacles.

Performance Tracking:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure integration success.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on integration progress and any adjustments needed to meet objectives.

Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure projects are executed smoothly with minimal disruption to business operations.

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA desired.
  • Minimum of 10 years of increasing managerial experience, a combination of in-house and firm experience is a plus and software industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in M&A integration with a track record of successfully managing complex integration projects from start to finish.
  • Extensive program management experience leading global cross-functional teams.
  • Established business and financial acumen, robust analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in project management tools, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to create informative and compelling Executive level presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
