Finance Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator/ Business Analyst supports the Source to Pay Enablement team by conducting analysis and documentation of business requirements to support projects and Mergers and Acquisitions.  Works in close collaboration with other stakeholders to develop business systems enhancements, business processes, performing a gap analysis of systems and business process mapping including the identification of linkages to other business systems. 



  • Contributes to the development of solutions to ensure that business processes and/or project deliverables are consistent, accurate, and timely.
  • Develops communication and training material for new business processes, and supports the transition from current systems, practices, and processes to an integrated system, common practices, and standardized processes with current or improved functionality.
  • Support integration of supply chain functions for new acquisitions for procure to pay including bridging between the acquired company and OpenText systems in various ERP environments
  • Bridge communication between business workstreams and technical workstreams
  • Assist with the maintenance (enhancements and updates) of agreed framework standards, including documentation standards/templates and process frameworks
  • Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical or functional challenges
  • Proactivity monitor key performance indicators to ensure data accuracy and data management policies are working as expected
  • Apply problem-solving & creativity to develop and design improvements to the processes, procedures, tools, rules and metrics
  • Develop and maintain requirements/specifications for the new or enhanced functionality to department operational processes, policies, and systems
  • Partnership and cross-functional interaction with teams to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Building relationships with leaders to improve processes and understanding and explaining variance drivers within the operations teams



  • 2+ years of project management and procurement experience
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or another related field
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience in S2P development, implementation, and transformation space
    • Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved business planning and management processes and reporting mechanisms
    • Demonstrable experience in Source to Pay (S2P) process design and hands-on capability, including documentation
    • Strong understanding of how business processes work and integrate with an ERP/SAP environment, and overall Procurement and Finance process/value flow understanding
  • High tech, internet, or purchasing experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and minimize risks
  • Self-starter working under minimal supervision with cross-functional teams to drive stated goals
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in, and influence change at all levels
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and execute tasks with short lead times, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
