The Opportunity


We are looking for talented, experienced software developers to join the OpenText DAM Product Development organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly support our product and our customers by addressing customer issues and requests. You will lead small scrum teams from design and development through to delivery.  In this role you will work closely with QA, Documentation, and product management as well as other scrum teams. If you have a passion for technology and delivering impactful software, you could be a good fit.

• Being passionate about software development at all levels: architecture, design, implementation, test, and deployment.
• Delivering high-quality software that is scalable, high-performing, and secure.
• Decomposing work into tasks that can be completed in days rather than weeks or months as a part of Scrum’s framework.
• Working with multiple teams in different countries towards a common goal.
• Moving products from an idea through design, development, and test, and then into a production environment.
• Adopting new technologies and innovating on concepts


What it takes


• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information systems or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience developing solutions.
• Experience being a technical leader for a team.
• Familiarity with UX JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
• Minimum of 5 years working with Java.
• Familiarity working with Docker Containers in a Kubernetes environment including AWS, GCP, Azure and MiniKube.


Nice to haves:

• Extensive expertise in application servers including JBOSS and TomEE.
• Minimum of 5 years working with databases such SQL Server, Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Proven history of building enterprise software including performance, scaling, security
• Have a passion for delivering software working as a team
