About the Role

 

This position will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements to design the solution architecture and integration for OT Exstream solutions as well as to lead the client, other OT Exstream resources, and partner resources in the implementation of those solutions. This position requires strong OT Exstream solution architecture skills as well as strong customer communication, technical, and problem solving. This position also requires the ability to lead large projects using formal project management approaches.  Experience with OT Exstream products is preferred. Experience with other Customer Communication solutions will be considered.  Experience programming for Linux/UNIX/MVS platforms, J2EE, .NET, SOA, Messaging Middleware, Web Services, SQL, and experience with Cloud technologies of Kubernetes, Docker and Helm is a plus. 

 

As a member of the team, your tasks will include: 

 

  • Work with clients to analyze requirements and specify solutions  

  • Design solution architecture for integration projects of OT Exstream, including orchestration of publishing tasks and steps using the Exstream platform, optimization of logging, fault detection, error handling and channel delivery, all aligning with a client’s strategies and goals 

  • Manage small to large projects throughout complete project lifecycle 

  • Implement integration components in Java, .NET, C/C++ or scripting languages 

  • Develop communication applications using OT Exstream software 

  • Consult and train clients on deployment of OT Exstream products 

  • Collaborates with the project manager or act as the project manager to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for medium to large business unit level projects 

  • Create documentation including that of architecture, integration, and development 

  • Successfully works on project teams (individual success defined by how the organization works as a team, including resource and skill sharing across the organization) 

  • Ensure client’s satisfaction 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Ability to understand a customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to develop and implement a solution that appropriately addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity. 

  • Ability to lead the development, deployment, and technical quality of small, medium, and large business unit level Information Technology (IT) based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas). 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the project manager to manage medium to large projects as necessary. 

  • Ability to communicate in fluent English. 

  • Bachelor’s degree with IT orientation, or equivalent experience. 

  • Experience programming for Linux/UNIX/MVS platforms, Web Services, and SQL. 

  • Proactive mindset, very good professional conduct, and attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrates excellent consultative skills. 

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with client. 

 

Other Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with OT Exstream products. 

  • Experience with other document generation products. 

  • Proficiency in foreign language other than English. 

  • Experienced in graphical design or desktop publishing applications. 

  • Advanced knowledge of PostScript, AFP, PDF or other output formats.

  • Ability to lead the development, deployment, and technical quality of small, medium, and large business unit level Information Technology (IT) based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas).

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with some of the following: Automation, Scripting, use of databases, Webservices, Virtualization (desktop and server), Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Linux, Security, Middleware, use of SharePoint
