OpenText is looking for a driven and results-oriented Senior Manager, Event Campaigns and Operations to join our Customer Marketing team. This individual will be a will be responsible for developing effective digital marketing strategies, optimizing campaigns, and collaborating with both internal teams & customers to drive awareness and event attendance. You will own all aspects of the campaigns that drive customer participation in OpenText’s most strategic events. You are a strong collaborator across functions and can lead a team starting with strategy to execution to follow up.




  • Lead our approach to develop digital marketing strategies and campaign plans for OpenText’s Tier 1 events and tradeshows
  • Lead a team responsible for the execution of cross-functional marketing campaigns
  • Using data and analytics, monitor performance and tune campaigns across channels and networks
  • Establish goals and KPIs and report back on results to key stakeholders in sales, product groups and marketing
  • Lead the segmentation strategy and develop communications that support each segment
  • Manage strategic projects through planning and delivery; from creating project plans, managing timelines and budget, flawless implementation, oversight of measurement insights and supporting the debrief to ensure ongoing innovation and improvement
  • Own strategic planning and coordinate execution of marketing projects associated with growing customer advocacy program
  • Build a scalable and repeatable framework for event campaign execution
  • Make recommendations and continuously refine the marketing mix to drive the best results
  • Evaluate, measure, and report on customer marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI




  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8-10 years relevant experience in event marketing, digital marketing or program management
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders and senior executives to develop and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Metric-driven mindset focused on setting and measuring KPIs
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Eloqua and other marketing technologies
  • Strong understanding and experience with multiple marketing channels, including digital, paid social, and email marketing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker and multi-tasker with stellar attention to detail
  • Analytical skills and the ability to derive value from metrics
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment 
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Aptitude towards technology and the IT Industry
  • Creative and resourceful with a strong sense of initiative
  • Some travel may be involved – up to 25%
