THE OPPORTUNITY:


OpenText is seeking a Customer Marketing Reference Manager to join our growing, dynamic global Customer Marketing team. The position will collaborate with dynamic, creative and talented people across all industries to promote how they use OpenText solutions to deliver amazing results. The position requires a highly motivated, proactive, and personable individual who will work cross-functionally to manage our customer marketing programs to accelerate pipeline globally. This individual will manage the reference management software, lead our efforts to drive advocacy with our strategic account teams and drive awareness, education and awareness with our key internal stakeholders.   The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, be able to work with all levels of a global organization internally and externally, can work with different cultures, exhibit out-of-the-box thinking, and take great pride in their work.

YOU ARE GREAT AT:

 

  • Rebuild our reference management system and relaunch our customer advocacy program to all stakeholders
  • Build and execute strategy to secure strategic accounts to become advocates
  • Manage internal communications and education for the team to drive awareness of assets and program participation
  • Cross-functional customer story amplification to ensure customers are included in everything we do
  • Lead our partner reference program strategy to encourage partner participation
  • Organize, track and manage customer reference information for reporting in corporate tools
  • Manage vendor to ensure tool maintains usefulness and scalability
  • Regularly communicate metrics of success and insights for improvement
  • Minimal travel, both domestic and international, will be required

 

WHAT IT TAKES:
 

  • 10+ years in Corporate Marketing, Program Management, Communications, Public Relations, Customer Success Management; experience with a customer reference program is a plus
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Previous marketing experience in the enterprise software industry
  • Highly experienced in RO Innovation reference management software
  • Out of the box thinking and creativity to overcome challenges
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with proven record of driving positive business results
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across other marketing and business functions, including stakeholders and leadership
  • Inspired by working in a fun, ambitious, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously while being organized
  • High proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
