As a Senior Quality Assurance Developer, you will apply excellent knowledge and experience to:

- Develop and refine the QA automation framework

- Support and contribute to test strategies and test cases

- Perform and clearly report on functional, integration and regression testing

- Assist Lead QA Developers and mentor Junior QA team members


The ideal candidate is a QA developer or a software developer who has strong experience with testing front end JavaScript frameworks, reusable component design and HTML5, CSS and JavaScript standards. Clear concise messaging and communication are required in disseminating ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A good understanding of accessibility standards and able to test features so that they conform to the WCAG (web content accessibility guidelines).


You are Great at:

- Creating automated tests for web UI applications built from HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

- Test driven development, writing system level tests (using Selenium Web Driver) and/or unit tests (particularly JavaScript Unit tests).

- Testing REST APIs and developing test automation for REST APIs

- Detailing technical test approach for complex software components and functions.

- Building environments with microservices, Kubernetes and Docker containers using git as source

- Analysing and documenting product defects.

- Contributing to software testing practices to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.

- Participating in the software development process from requirements specification to release in an Agile Development Framework.

- Understanding user accessibility requirements and making them part of the testing framework.


What it takes:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent qualification in a related field

- Strong Web UI automated testing background, or strong Web UI software development skills

- In depth knowledge of web technologies

- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML and web services

- Experience with ready-made automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Serenity)

- Experience in using API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, jMeter)

- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab/Github source control

- Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD and test automation in a pipeline

- Knowledge of Core Java and Spring Boot would be beneficial

- Strong hands-on experience with testing enterprise applications

- Experience working with groups of people across several geographies

- Excellent communication; written/verbal and time management skills
