The Opportunity:

OpenText™ OT2 is our next-generation Information Management as a Service platform that enables development and deployment of multi-tenant SaaS applications.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to work as part of a software development scrum team designing and implementing multi-tenant SaaS applications focusing on Microsoft integrations on the OT2 Platform. Working with a team of experienced Product Managers, Developers and Cloud Operations teams, you will contribute to the implementation of these applications.




You will be:

  • Working within a scrum team to collaboratively plan, design, implement, and review solutions in an iterative fashion
  • Preparing high-level & low-level design documents and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues by leveraging your superior analytical skills
  • Taking responsibility for upgrades and enhancements to entire components
  • Collaborating with developers across the organization to build multi-tier systems


Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
  • 7+ years industry experience in building SOA style applications in the cloud
  • Strong experience with Java or JavaScript based server-side development technologies such as Spring Boot, Node.js, etc.
  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, backbone, etc.)


  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies such as C#, .net, SharePoint framework, Add-ins, Graph API, Teams, and Azure.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Experience building solutions on at least one of the major PAAS Clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Experience in architecting Kubernetes and Docker based solutions
  • Strong technical qualities with a passion for delivering leading edge designs and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and innovative solution design
  • Familiarity of content management concepts
  • Good experience in AGILE development methodologies, DevOps and Cloud based Application Development and Deployment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to a global organization
  • Strong collaborative approach to problem solving
