The Opportunity:
OpenText Document Capture Services (DCS) offers document scanning and metadata indexing for paper and microfilm/microfiche to a broad customer base.  We are looking for a dedicated Sales & Operations Support candidate to support our leadership team and help drive business performance. The Sales & Operations Support is responsible for creating estimates & proposals, processing billing requests & accruals and developing sales campaigns. This role focuses on both pre and post sales activities. The work is performed at our DCS office in San Antonio, TX with occasional client facing trips.

 

What you will be doing:
•    Understanding and supporting the sales process from start to end.
•    Willingness to learn, and as needed participate in, the document imaging process.
•    Conduct lead generation activities.
•    Discover client project requirements through phone conversations, in-person meetings and/or from client produced documents.
•    Participate in bid review sessions.
•    Calculate service and cost estimates for projects.
•    Assist with creating scopes of work and presenting to clients.
•    Provide contract and client relationship management.
•    Track and manage project cost and margins.
•    Submit monthly project accruals.
•    AP/AR support.
•    Financial tracking and reporting
•    Perform administrative or general office duties in support of business operations.

 

You are great at:
•    2+ years of business operations, professional sales or equivalent experience.
•    Ability to work independently and interact professionally in a small team environment.
•    Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
•    Experience with analyzing client requirements to develop project estimates.
•    Draft formal sales documentation such as proposals or statements of work.
•    Strong math and analytical skills
•    Intermediate computer experience, with an emphasis on strong Excel knowledge.
•    Perform under pressure, exercise time management and meet deadlines.
•    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and paying attention to detail. 
•    Familiarity with paper and microfilm/fiche scanning processes is a plus.
