Lead Integration Consultant - EDI, Mandarin speaking

The Consultant will be responsible for Project Management and solution integration for our customers. Also involve in solution design consulting, technical evaluation, training, and project management to our client implementations. Focus on analysis of client requirements and design of solutions that improve business productivity.


Responsibilities and activities:

Project Management

 Create project management process/methodology by developing and implementing a consistent and standardized process throughout the project

 Improve effectiveness of the project and efficiently meet and manage client objectives and expectations

 Identify processes and conflict processes to create deliverables

 Manage relationships with clients and staff in the sales, IT, operations organization

 Provide technology and business consultation

 Work closely to align technology planning with client

 Provide reporting support for client and organizational leaders

 Manage scheduling, cost control and changes


Systems Integration (SI)

 Identify and design Managed Services solution to ensure it meets user requirements and specifications.

 Configure Enterprise relationships and Application Integrator trading partnerships.

 Configure Trading Grid Managed Service tuples and relationships.

 Work with Project Management to development functional specifications.

 Interact with mapping development teams to create and execute Customer Acceptance Test Plans.

 Deploy mappings on Pre-Production and Production Environments.

 Create and review design documents for Solutions Management/Production Support handoffs.

 Stabilize Managed Service Solution for turnover to Production Support.



Mandarin speaking is required as to cover the China clients

Years of experience / Type of experience: 5-10 Years

Knowledge required: Project Management

Education Degree / courses: University Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other technical discipline.

Desired behavioral competencies for the role:

Strong business acumen and execute project solutions

Dynamic Problem Solver with customer focus

Strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage complex relationships

Strong communications skills – written, oral, executive presence

Strong team player; ability to partner with sales and other cross-functional organizations

Desired technical skills for the role (general technical competencies):

5 – 10 years solid working experience in eBusiness solution delivery, IT consulting with 5 years of project management experience in the role of Project Manager

Project management and application development background in EDI implementation, use of EDI mapping tools, supply chain management, purchasing and procurement

Knowledge of communications standards such as FTP, AS2, HTTP is a must

Knowledge of EDI mapping software

Bizconnect/Bizlink/webMethods implementation experience

Oracle and SQL Scripting
