Lead Consultant – Exstream/StreamServe/Document Presentment/xPressions – Consulting Services


OpenText’s Professional Services Customer Communications Management (CCM) team is a fast-paced, rapidly expanding organization specializing in OpenText’s CCM Software, including OT Exstream, StreamServe, Document Presentment and xPressions solutions.  These software solutions combine customer relationship management (CRM) and mission-critical communications with multi-channel output.  


The team has an opening for a senior level solution architect/consultant to be a key contributor for our team.  Professional Services is focused on working with OT’s CCM clients to develop and implement document automation solutions utilizing the OT CMM product set.  The Team’s goal is to engage with our clients to develop solutions that deliver a strong Return on Investment and achieve an excellent level of customer satisfaction.   

 

As a member of team, your tasks may include:

•    Work with clients to analyze requirements and specify solutions
•    Assist with the solution architecture design for integration projects of OT’s CCM software, including orchestration of publishing tasks and steps, optimization of logging, fault detection, error handling and channel delivery, all aligning with a client’s strategies and goals
•    Be the technical lead on small to medium projects throughout complete project lifecycle 

•    Implement integration components in Java (Core, SpringBoot, Camel), .NET, C/C++ or scripting languages

•    Develop communication applications using OT’s CCM software – Exstream Design Manager / Communication Designer / Content Author / Empower

•    Develop communication orchestration flows using Orchestrator, Communication Builder and Command Center and Delivery Manager
•    Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Windows Batch or Perl for orchestration / scheduler

•    Integrate OpenText Directory Services (OTDS) with identity providers like On-prem AD over LDAP; Azure AD, Okta, PingIdentity using SAML 2.0 and SCIM 2.0
•    Consult and mentor clients on deployment of OT’s CCM software
•    Collaborates with the project manager to develop project estimates, including detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for small to medium business unit level projects
•    Create project documentation including architecture, functional specifications, technical design, integration design, configuration and development
•    Potentially work on multiple customer engagements in parallel 
•    Successfully works as a member of a project team collaborating on projects and well as skill sharing
•    Ensure client’s satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

•    Ability to understand the customer's business problem, need, or opportunity and to develop and implement a solution that appropriately addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity.
•    Ability to lead the development, deployment, and technical quality of small and medium business unit level Information Technology (IT) based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas).
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with the project manager to manage small to medium projects as necessary. 

•    Bachelor’s degree with IT orientation, or equivalent experience.
•    Experience programming for Linux/UNIX/MVS platforms, Web Services, SQL, Stored Procedure, ORM, data transformation using XSLT 1.0 / 2.0

•    Experience with integration concepts like REST, SOAP, Messaging Queues (RabbitMQ/IBMMQ), event-driven architecture using Kafka

•    Deep understanding and hands-on experience with one of the public cloud providers - AWS, Azure or GCP deploying Exstream server-based and cloud-native platforms.

•    Understanding of web and security concepts like DNS, HTTPS, Single Sign On (SSO), SSH, TLS, mTLS, JKS, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, Cryptography

•    Proactive mindset, very good professional conduct, and attention to detail.
•    Demonstrates excellent consultative skills.
•    Ability to build rapport and trust with client.
  

 

Other Desired Qualifications

•    Experience with OT Exstream, StreamServe, Document Presentment or xPressions solutions.
•    Cloud Native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift etc.), microservices or specific hyper scaler technologies

•    Experience with DevOps tooling like Git, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, Fortify, Artifactory

•    Knowledge / experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Vault

•    Understanding of front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React / Angular)

•    Experienced in graphical design or desktop publishing applications.
•    Advanced knowledge of PostScript, AFP, PDF or other output formats.
•    UNIX, MVS or z/OS system administration.

•    Knowledge of integrating with SAP, SuccessFactors, Sales Force, Guidewire and OpenText product stack like ECM, xECM, Archive Server
