As a Junior Technical Consultant in IT Process Automation at OpenText, you will play a crucial role in optimizing IT processes and workflows for our clients. You will assist in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and enhance efficiency. What You Need to Succeed
 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking principles.
    • Familiarity with IT automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++.
    • Experience with databases like SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
    • Proficiency with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
    • Experience with platforms like Windows, Linux, macOS.
  • Product Experience: Familiarity with IT Process Automation solutions such as OpenText Operations Orchestration, Dynatrace IT Automation, Atlassian Jira IT Automation, etc.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include ITIL 4, COBIT 5, TOGAF 9, UiPath RPA, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Additional proficiency in German or French is highly valued.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work in an office or remotely, travel to client sites as needed, and accommodate different time zones.
