The Opportunity

 

Cloud Service Delivery – Architect

 

OpenText is looking for an Architect to join its Cloud Service Delivery team to help enhance and support its Identity Access Management (IAM) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and customers.

 

You Are Great At

  • Provide leadership and oversight for IAM/IoT solution architecture and implementations
  • Lead and participate in architecture and design reviews.
  • Translate solution design into technical specs and detailed implementation tasks to be delegated to on-site and off-site teams.
  • Hands-on programming experience with an ability to partake in development activities, if required.
  • Oversee the solution implementation per agreed requirements and design.
  • Troubleshooting and defect resolution of critical issues identified by customers.
  • Support incident management and ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide sales support for IAM/IoT new opportunities.

 

What it Takes

  • BS in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of enterprise architecture and support operations experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on delivery experience and knowledge with agile SDLC
  • Application development leadership experience.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages like Java and JavaScript is a must.
  • Extensive SOA design, microservices architecture experience involving, but not limited to, SOAP/REST APIs,  synchronous and asynchronous messaging using different messaging and event driven patterns and architecture.
  • Experience with authorization/authentication protocols including hands-on knowledge of SAML 2.0, oAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, SSO.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot, JPA and microservices development is must.
  • Knowledge of building APIs, proxies, policies development in APIGEE
  • Exposure to responsive SPA design leveraging frameworks like Angular, React is a plus.
  • Experience with internet protocols such as FTP, TLS, HTTP and knowledge in messaging protocols such as MQTT, AMQP.
  • Strong understanding of security including; SSL/TLS, certificates, encryption/decryption
  • Experience with source code version control and issue/bug tracking system tools such as GIT and JIRA.
  • Exposure to Containerization, Docker is a plus.
  • Experience with PaaS and IaaS desired.
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic, flexible and creative environment.
  • Experience estimating software development projects for all key roles in SDLC in addition to design and development including but not limited to business requirements gathering, quality assurance and support and operations.
  • Solid understanding of the organization’s key success factors, business strategy and rationale as well as that of the competition.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, development staff, and customers.
  • Critical problem solver with the ability to recognize and anticipate problems (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement the best practices.
