The Opportunity:
We are looking for a self-starter to join our GIS Governance team at OpenText a specialist in Security Awareness and Communications will be. For this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security awareness programs to promote a culture of security throughout OpenText, and support compliance.
You Are Great At:
- Create engaging, interactive, and consumable content that promotes information security best practices on our intranet, newsletters, posters, monitors, etc.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the leadership team as well as external stakeholders on the OpenText security posture.
- Facilitate annual/ad-hoc compliance and security training throughout the organization as well as engage stakeholders in planning, execution, and closing (which include selecting training modules, troubleshooting, and reporting on completion status).
- Continuously keep abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Support OpenText M&A onboarding and training activity.
- Conduct company-wide phishing simulations throughout the year.
What It Takes:
- Bachelors in communication, Arts, Media, or related field.
- Ability to edit videos and utilize visual tools like PowerPoint, Visio, Canva, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages that grab the attention of an audience.
- Willingness to learn about security and pursue certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP etc.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC, NIST etc.
