Zix | AppRiver is looking for a CSE/Onboarding Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily a technical and planning resource for the MSP recruit team and acts as a liaison to help new MSPs apply Zix | AppRiver cloud services to meet technical and business requirements. The CSE/Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the onboarding activities that support the Recruit team’s goals. The Engineer should have proven experience with soliciting business and technical requirements, project management, developing a technical sales strategy, configuring, and effectively demonstrating Zix | AppRiver solutions that address these requirements while highlighting value. Activities include presentations to business and technical audiences using a variety of methods including Microsoft PowerPoint, live demonstrations, and impromptu discussions. This person must enjoy working with a variety of job functions, have excellent communications and relationship building skills, and in-depth knowledge of various technologies aligned with Zix | AppRiver Solutions.

 

The CSE/Onboarding Specialist assists in uncovering sales opportunities with the MSP Recruit Manager while safeguarding a phenomenal onboarding experience. As a key member of the MSP Recruit Team, the CSE/Onboarding Specialist is also responsible for adhering to Zix | AppRiver’s core values and providing measurable partner value.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct product demos, technical guidance, and onboarding recommendations.
  • Provide technical and non-technical support to help MSPs expand their business.
  • Work with the Recruit Managers to build onboarding and ramp plans for partners
  • Build relationships with technical and sales resources within the target MSP accounts
  • Act as the liaison between target MSPs and technical resources within Zix | AppRiver
  • Assist as needed in trials and pilots to assure successful outcomes.
  • Align with the Recruit team to help achieve corporate goals.
  • Understand and deliver current and future product information, product strategy and competitive product information.
  • Develop and demonstrate core competencies within the Zix | AppRiver’s full suite of services.
  • Help support Microsoft CSP corporate goals.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product management team.
  • Thoroughly understand competitive products and Zix | AppRiver’s strengths.
  • Identify and help the Recruit team uncover upsell opportunities within MSP accounts.
  • Provide a feedback loop from the MSP to Product Marketing on market requirements.
  • Assist in creating, managing, and delivering product training.
  • Work with Implementation, Channel Sales Engineers, Recruit, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve potential gaps in the products/services.
  • Develop logical implementation plans and placements of Zix Services in client networks.
  • Provide Phenomenal Support to all opportunities.
  • Participate in all appropriate product training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of knowledge.
  • Occasionally, but when required, travel to Partner on-site visits to facilitate large scale migrations, technical training and educations, and as a backup/if needed assist in trade shows and conferences.

 

Preferred experience and relevant skills:

  • BS/BA in relevant (CS, EE, MIS) preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Minimum of two years of technical sales or support preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud and security a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft email and security services a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of email architectures vendor products related to security.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with a team environment, comprised of Sales, Product Management, Channels, Deployments, Technical Support and Leadership.

 

 

For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $67,000 to $160,000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
