Sr. Manager, Inside Sales

The Opportunity:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives, ensuring overall productivity and quota attainment is met for each month, quarter, and year. They manage a team of highly skilled Sales Representatives in a geographic region selling to a wide range of accounts enterprise grade software solutions.


The nature of this position is sales and relationship management conducted via telephone using modern virtual selling methodologies. Having exceptional communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships over the phone is critical for effective management. Equally important is the ability to effectively hire, enable, mentor high performance team members while forecasting the regional business.


You are great at:

  • Identifying, hiring, training, and managing Sales Representatives
  • Providing accurate forecast and pipeline reporting
  • Working with sales leadership to define individual sales territories
  • Identifying, developing, forecasting and closing business to meet or exceed the company's defined sales goals
  • Guiding sales representatives in closing complex sales engagements to close while interacting with many company collaborators
  • Continuously, managing enablement to provide a career progression for managed sales professionals   


What it takes:

  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in software sales and Sales Management
  • Bachelor’s Collage Degree, MBA preferred
  • A proven track record in closing
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships and close business over the telephone
  • Proven experience in building and effectively managing a sales organization
  • Experience selling across many industry verticals and account sizes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com
  • Excellent organizational & documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with top level management and sales people
  • Understanding of strategic selling & consultative selling processes
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills; presentation & public speaking experience
  • Proven leadership & negotiating skills
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals (100% is a minimum expectation)
