The Opportunity

 

OPENTEXT is seeking a passionate customer-focused individual to head up Business Network PS Architecture team within our Customer Solutions organization. This position will have a critical influence over the technology and solutions we deploy for our customers.  This is a visible and key technology role in OPENTEXT with direct customer interactions and business impact. We are looking for someone with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements, identify solutions, drive innovation, and partner with our sales, product and delivery organizations to grow revenue and customer base. 

 

You Are Great At

 

  • Manage a team of architects across the globe, provide technical guidance and help make key executive decisions
  • Interface directly with OPENTEXT customers to help with solving there issues and propose best possible solutions to fit their needs
  • Provide global architectural oversight to pre-sales solution consulting team for all OPENTEXT Business Network Managed Services projects
  • Key areas of focus will be hardening PS implementation practices OPENTEXT Active Application suite of products
  • Liaise with PD and Product Marketing teams to establish product enhancements for OPENTEXT customers and internal process optimization
  • Establish / document global architectural standards / best practices for professional services implementation team
  • Manage global roll-out of new tools to improve quality and productivity
  • Conduct reviews of OPENTEXT Functional Requirements Specification document prior to delivery to customer for sign-off
  • Participate in Solution Review Process as well as Joint Design Review process as needed
  • Maintain focus on continued product enhancements and communicate changes to the EMEA professional services team

 

What It Takes

 

  • 10 years’ experience with software architecture and management experience
  • Broad architectural expertise across OS (Unix, Linux), Database (Oracle), Platform, and other integration-related technologies and solutions (Internet transport protocols, E-Invoicing Solutions, Customs Integration)
  • Extensive experience with multi-tenant, cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in integration use cases and solutions, to include B2B, IAM / IOT, and A2A
  • Strong executive presence and communications skills
  • Strong team player; ability to partner with sales and other cross-functional organizations
  • Bachelors Degree; MBA or Masters Degree a plus.
