About the role:
The Channel sale Account Executive, experienced sales rep responsible for delivering license software sales though channel. The primary mission is to establish and utilize programs and structures, develop strategies tailored to each partner, and maximize business.
T Channel sales representatives build strong relationships with partners and understand their own business strategies to maximize business.
Focused on selling ITOM, ADM, Cyber security, Portfolio products though channel. Assumes responsibility for large and mid-size SI, Global SI and consulting firms, especially via HP, DXC
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales quotas.
Use expertise and understanding of the partner's own business strategy to build and drive the pursuit of a pipeline through the channel. Update the contaracts and agreements with each partner, plan and execute training, plan and execute joint events, brief partners on OpenText's strategy including partner programs, etc., develop T2/T1 partners. For Global partners, coordinate, and report with the Global team.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Directly related previous work experience.
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface.
More than 5 years of advanced sales experience. Direct sales experience is preferred.
Business English skill.
Knowledge & Skills
Understand the strategies and needs of each partner and coordinate internally, including with Global, to identify issues and provide solutions for business expansion. Where there is no existing appropriate mechanism, to willingly create and provide one.
Consistently meets or exceeds metrics related to the role set by the direct reporting manager.
