OpenText is looking for a dynamic Professional Services Consultant to help realize and drive OpenText’s growing Enterprise Information Management (EIM) professional services business. In this role you will various Architecture, Design, Analysis and implementation on Windows and UNIX operating systems. You will specialise in ECM Sizing and Scaling, Performance analysis in OpenText solutions. You will be liaising with customers to gain a real understanding of their business needs and drivers. Excellent communications skills to help build effective relationships with customers and partners alike are essential. 
You will be pro-active, technically aware and professional. You will ideally have an understanding and experience of Information Management and how this is implemented and utilized within an Enterprise Content Management system.  You will also be required to analyze and articulate business requirements for translation to a sound technical design. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION
1.    Design and implementation complex OpenText ECM architectures, including highly available systems, highly scalable systems, Disaster Recovery, DMZ systems, and highly secure systems.
2.    Install Content Server with various modules, Archive Server, File System Archiving, Enterprise Scan, Rendition Server, OpenText Integration Center, Email Monitoring, Archiving and Management.
3.    Configuring Content Server Systems for Single Sign On and integration with Active Directory, LDAP Directory Server.
4.    Design and implementation integrated Content Server with various modules/applications including Records Management, eForms management, Secure Extranet Servlet, Renditions, Enterprise Connect.
5.    Implementation OpenText Solutions on various operating systems using various Relational Databases and web servers. 
6.    Implementation highly redundant OpenText ECM systems with content server application clusters, Microsoft clusters, Virtual Hardware Clusters and environments using hardware load balancers.
7.    Design and implementation Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for varied business requirements.
8.    Design and implementation complex Content Server architectures with Remote Cache and Archive Server Cache for a globally distributed environment.
9.    Performed Performance analysis, Sizing and scaling and security assessment for multiple implementations.
10.    Conducted OpenText performance analysis and architecture assessments to correct system bottlenecks and performance related issues.
11.    Design and implementation content server Monitoring agent with different SNMP applications.
12.    Consult projects with migration of data from old content server instances with customized modules to latest content server instances using tools.
13.    Analyse sizing and specification of content server architectures to support geographically dispersed, mission critical, 24x7 operations.

 

QUALIFICATION
1.    The candidate should have 5+ years of in various Architecture, Design, Analysis and implementation on Windows and UNIX operating systems.
2.    The candidate also has experience in Server Administration, Virtualization, Networking, High Availability and Disaster Recovery processes.
3.    Performance analysys experience will be helpful.
4.    Excellent customer interaction skills
5.    Information Management, Document Management and Records Management knowledge and implementation experience
6.    Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
7.    Self-starter with ability to work with general instructions on new assignments
8.    Existing knowledge of OpenText products is a bonus
9.    Strong communication skill with native Japanese and advanced English
