Position Description:

Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, implementation and execution of the marketing programs designed to drive engagement in Japan and pipeline generation through multiple channels and partners.

The right candidate will have a clear understanding of B2B software marketing, especially Cyber Security, Data Backup and Recovery solutions, with a strong background in partner and customer acquisition strategies and relationship management.

This role will drive both direct and indirect marketing programs such as events, content syndication, online advertising, webinars, customer case studies, and channel enablement initiatives to new lead acquisition and demand generation is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Build the marketing programs and partner joint activities with the appropriate on-line and off-line mix such as events, tradeshows, search, social, direct mail, email, webinars, content syndication.

• Manage and execute on demand generation programs to increase leads and enhance the quality of leads delivered to the sales team and channel partners.

• Ensure consistency with brand messaging and voice

• Work closely with sales team and partners to identify and develop new offers, content and sales promotion tools

• Partner with the global marketing team to ensure that you are aware of the latest marketing programs and localise and leverage the campaigns & materials when applicable

• Liaison with suppliers such as media advertising agencies, PR agencies, telemarketers, and direct marketing agencies on an as needed basis

• Manage campaign budgets and timelines


Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, Mid-market marketing experience preferred

• A good understanding of the Cyber Security and Data Protection industry

• Experience working in marketing with proven success and high initiative in the creation and execution of effective demand generation marketing campaigns and partner engagement.

• Experience with a variety of marketing activities, including social, web, email marketing and webinars

• Must be extremely well organized but need to be flexible to handle changes in priorities

Must have the ability and confidence to communicate marketing plans and successes internally to ensure coordination across channels

• Adaptable to a fast paced, technology driven, environment

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Experience with Marketo and Salesforce including the reporting elements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred

• Language: Japanese Native / English Fluent
