We are MailStore Software GmbH from Viersen near Düsseldorf with a team of 50 employees. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing (m/f/d). This role can be hybrid or fully remote.

 

YOUR IMPACT
The Senior Manager, Marketing plays a crucial role in our company as team lead of the MailStore marketing team. You lead the five-person marketing team and have global responsibility for the full range of marketing for the MailStore brand and email archiving products. You will be in constant communication with colleagues from other MailStore departments and with the marketing leadership team of our parent company OpenText. 

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • You are responsible for the marketing strategy and planning for the MailStore product portfolio
  • You are responsible for brand positioning and consistent messaging across all communication channels
  • You keep track of the various marketing channels (e.g. SEA, content marketing, newsletter, social media) and ensure that we reach our target groups effectively with our activities
  • You plan the annual budget and ensure that it is adhered to
  • You are responsible for the marketing-sourced leads MailStore direct sales (approx. 35-40% of MailStore revenue)
  • You lead the MailStore marketing team, consisting of product marketing, digital marketing and channel marketing, with everything that goes with it (e.g. prioritizing upcoming projects, defining performance goals and regular performance reviews)

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights
  • Experience managing people, preferably in a distributed team environment
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations including CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR
  • Self-organized and able to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Strategic thinking to connect business goals, customer needs, and marketing strategy
  • Fluent in German and English
