The OpenText On Demand Message (ODM) group is part of the Digital Experience unit and powered by the world’s largest business network in the Cloud. Our ODM team offers a set of solutions that facilitate efficient and secure messaging and management of information inside and outside of the organization. The opportunity:
XMedius is searching for an Account Executive reporting to Director Sales, XMedius Solutions. This role has the following responsibility:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing sales of the XMedius cloud and software solutions, directly to customers and through channel partners. The successful candidate will manage existing partner reseller relationships in territory, and recruit/train new channel partners in the Great Lakes territory (ND, SD, NE, MI, IA, WI, IL, MI, IN, KY, OH). They must maintain corporate standards for various sales metrics such as pipeline size, salesforce record accuracy and currency and other corporate administrative objectives and goals.
You are great at:
* Seek and Develop new accounts / new channel partners (new logos/white space)
* Develop and implement territory plans which will exceed MCV goals
* Manage quotas greater than $1.3 million
* Utilize corporate resources to identify and close key opportunities
* Forecasting
* Negotiate contracts
* Build and maintain a sales pipeline at corporate standard of 5x quota
* Utilize and update the Salesforce and provide timely feedback on requested reports

What it takes:
* Proactive, outbound new business sales capability and track record in cloud service sales space
* Independent, self-starter with excellent matrix management skills
* Ability to manage, grow and develop a large pipeline of opportunities in collaboration with channel partners
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards work
* Strong problem solving, forecasting and organizational (including matrix management) skills
* Comfortable dealing with technical and contractual issues
* Experience (and ability to) selling Cloud, License and Professional services solutions, ideally (Fax, Secure Messaging)
* At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the channel within the UC market (Cisco channel preferred)
* History proved positive for attaining goals in the last 2-3 years
