Data Protector

 

OpenText Data Protector and OpenText Cloud Ally are leaders in the delivery of backup and disaster recovery solutions to Enterprise and Mid-Market customers.

 

Data Protector has many competitors, but we strongly believe that our solution and approach is unparalleled and provides the most secure backup and disaster recovery solution whether it is protecting against disasters or Ransomware and other erroneous security threats.

The Opportunity

 

Identifying opportunities through analysis of OpenText’s current Data Protector client base as well as potential new business and market drivers within North America – predominantly in the South/South Central area. Cloud Ally is a M365 cloud-cloud backup and disaster recovery solution which is being transitioned into our team and will be sold in parallel.

 

Knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery is not essential as full training will be given, but candidates must have a strong degree of self-motivation and an understanding of how to generate interest in solutions within all market sectors.  Experience in cold calling is essential.

 

As an Account Executive at OpenText you help customers secure their data and protect that information within an increasingly Digital World. You are part of a global team of highly skilled and entrepreneurial professionals who understand that their customers are experiencing unprecedented change.

 

Your customers trust your judgment to help them solve their most pressing business problems and to support them in ensuring they can backup and restore data on premise and in the cloud.  You will stop at nothing to help them find the right solution to positively impact the business and protect their most important information asset – their data.   

 

YOU ARE GREAT AT:

  • Picking up the phone and talking to customers and prospects about their needs
  • Preparing comprehensive territory plans.
  • Identifying and converting opportunities into sales.
  • Skillfully executing each phase of the sales process from pipeline generation to closing the deal.
  • Clearly articulating the value proposition of solutions and products and the endless possibilities of the digital enterprise to your customers.
  • Collaboration across all internal teams and resources to ensure you bring the best solution to your clients.

 

WHAT IT TAKES:

  • You have a track record of at least two years of selling across Enterprise.
  • You have experience working in a consultative capacity with customers on complex cloud and on-premises solutions.
  • Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets within your defined territory to ensure success.
  • Producing and maintaining regular, timely and accurate sales forecast reports whilst managing pipeline and an effective and focused business plan.
  • You deploy advanced sales methodologies and tools to achieve and exceed your targets.
  • You will also carve out strong relationships with Partners/SIs to pursue successful joint sales strategies to win new business.
