The Opportunity: 


As an Agile Team Coordinator, you will be joining our global Engineering team remotely based in the United Kingdom. The successful incumbent will be comfortable providing Agile coaching and support to a variety of roles with different levels of Agile experience. It is important to have an understanding of the Agile Manifesto, as well as some formal Agile frameworks. If you are a passionate, experienced and confident Agile practitioner, this position will allow you to beneficially impact the engineering and delivery process, and affect positive change as a key influencer in the global Engineering organization, by encouraging the adoption of Agile Development best practice. You will receive the best opportunities for personal and professional development, collaborating with, and learning from, the global ATC team, and peers from Product and Program Management.


What You Are Great At:


  • The role supports several teams developing world-class security and backup products used by businesses around the world; providing agile coaching and assisting self-managing teams to implement different agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • The role supports the development and implementation of our global release processes, ensuring all software meets all the key guidelines for quality and release readiness.
  • The ATC will provide co-ordination and communication for cross-team projects, helping to manage scheduling, reporting, and resolving blockers.
  • ATCs schedule and host regular and ad-hoc meetings for a variety of remotely located participants, positively influencing contributions, and helping to develop outcomes and actions.
  • This role will act as an advocate for Agile, promoting the benefits of an Agile approach to stakeholders in all areas of the business, and helping with practical implementation of Agile processes to meet the wider needs of a successful, global company.


What it takes to excel:

  • An open minded, flexible, but principled approach to the application of Agile development principles, based strongly on the Agile Manifesto and not biased to any one Agile framework.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, adjustable for a range of audiences.
  • A willingness to take the initiative, proactively identify potential problems and be assertive in developing plans to resolve issues.
  • A collaborative spirit, expressed through servant leadership, which gains the trust of your peers, thought leaders and management.
  • A flexible and creative approach to bring teams together to solve complex problems in remote working environment.
  • Experience using a backlog management and collaboration tool; for instance, Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience working as an Agile practitioner in a Product Development environment.
  • A technical background, with a good grounding in software and cloud technologies.
