Your Impact:  Solution Consultant (Documentum) #LI-Remote

The Technical Consultant will be responsible for architecting an Enterprise Content Management solution, assisting customers with the proper sizing and scaling of the architecture and performing the installation and configuration of the solution. The Technical Consultant will act as a leading authority on architecting the proper Enterprise architecture to sustain large volumes of content from multiple sources; SAP Data, Email, Documents, Images, etc. Understands customer requirements and advises customer on solution options. They will also apply expert business skills and consulting methodologies to collect and analyze data. Exhibits a broad knowledge of all service offerings within Open Text, working with other team members to grow and develop knowledge as the product offering extends in features and settings. Collaborates with the sales team to scope the specialized portion of proposals for customer engagements.

 

What the role offers

  • Performing analysis, requirements definition, architecture recommendations, providing advice and guidance on the proper sizing of an architecture. 
  • Delivering on the specifications, standing up, testing and validating complex installations.  
  • Working on complex problems that may require research and deep knowledge of the solution and address broad design issues for future projects. 
  • Creating executive presentations on results specifically related to the architecture and foundation of the engagement and influencing the strategic direction of the practice. 

 

What you need to Succeed: 

  • 5-8 years of architecture experience with demonstrated skills in analytical problem-solving environments.
  • 5+ years’ experience with OpenText Documentum, Documentum upgrades and Migrations. 3+ years of work experience in container ecosystem such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform. 3+ years of Java development coupled with REST and SOAP Frameworks.
  • 1-3 years of experience in AI/ML development, with some exposure to generative models and NLP. Proficiency in Python is essential, as it’s widely used in AI development. Knowledge of other languages like R or Java can also be beneficial
  • Working knowledge with Database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PGSQL databases, network architecture, firewalls, extranet security, virtual environments, backup and high available structures.
  • General knowledge of web servers, browsers and other internet applications
  • Solid understanding of Operating System platforms, Storage platforms, different database products, cloud deployment providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Application build platforms, and integration with external vendors like SAP, Microsoft, Peoplesoft, Salesforce, etc. using their core api’s or through webservices.
  • Develops strategies, policies, best practices through leadership collaboration and technical community contributions
  • Specific experience with GxP, HIPAA, FinTech, and FedRAMP implementations is highly valued and can set candidates apart.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication (oral and written) skills and be willing to travel based on client requirements. 
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferably related to Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Solid organizational and planning skills.

For New York, Colorado and California residents, this job is expected to pay a minimum of  $125,000/annum  in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
