Role Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global software company who is going through an exciting period of growth. Working within a well established, growing finance team your role will be varied and will present great opportunity for learning and professional development.

As Financial Accountant, you will be a key player in the close process on a monthly and quarterly basis. You will also play a key role in systems implementation, as well as accounting and compliance issues. We're looking for a driven, high-energy individual that can work well with internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will be expected to problem tackle, recommend solutions and exercise good business judgment while performing their function.

KEY Responsibilities:

• Month and quarter-end close duties, including prepaids, fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations for several EMEA entities
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packs for all entities
• Statutory audit support
• Vat and statistical return preparation
• Assist in the testing and development of accounting system functionality
• Internal controls and SOX compliance
• Ad hoc accounting duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified ACCA/ACA
• Minimum of 3+ years PQE
• Proven knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Oracle ERP, SAP and/or Netsuite experience a distinct advantage
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results
• Fluent English essential
• Some travel may be required periodically
