The Opportunity

 Carbonite is looking for a self-starter to join our growing team of Business Development Rep (BDR) -- this is a great opportunity to start or grow your career in tech sales!


Our CSA’s are responsible for answering all Data Protection email Inquiries and phone calls. You will play a key role in our success by helping educate customers, providing a great first point of contact for the customer experience, and helping identify strong partnerships between Carbonite and the businesses that want to reach us.

You Are Great At:


Your First Six Months:

  • Become fully acquainted with our culture, values, and environment
  • Learn sales systems and processes
  • Understand customer pain points, and how to solve them.
  • Get a full understanding of how to effectively do customer discovery calls.
  • Learn the full basket of endpoint products, O365, Carbonite Endpoint, Carbonite Safe, Webroot SA.
  • Make approximately 40 calls per day or have 2 hours of talk time. No overdue tasks, and efficient pipeline management.

Six to Twelve Months and Beyond:

  • Establish yourself as an expert in endpoint security and data protection.
  • Work with territory AE’s to establish strong relationships.
  • Continue to build best practices to ensure your long-term success as a CSA

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strongly developed set of personal and professional ethics.
  • A good sense of humor. We believe your job should be fun
  • 1+  years of experience as a BDR or outbound sales.
  • Strong history of sales success.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Preferably bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $37,000 to $89,000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
