The Opportunity:
The Associate Consultant is a key player in implementing and supporting OpenText cloud and enterprise-level solutions for commercial and end-user applications. This position is responsible for day-to-day support of Professional Services customer requests as well as collaboration with internal teams for the successful delivery of our managed services offering. The Associate Consultant is able to communicate and manage time effectively while driving multiple tasks from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who strive to solve real-life business and technology challenges through implementation of cloud and enterprise solutions while acquiring new technical skills and experience.

 

You are great at:
Supporting large-scale enterprise system implementations involving one or multiple OpenText products and technologies, including business workflow and capture-related solutions to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

Joining in the design, installation, testing and supporting of OpenText product implementations based on customer requirements and OpenText project/resourcing needs (e.g., RightFax, EasyLink/Xpedite Fax2Mail/cloud fax, XM Fax/cloud fax, Alchemy, OpenText Cloud Capture/Capture Center, B2B EDI).
Writing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, SQL) for automation of certain system monitoring tasks such as in solution test procedures.
Working with customers to formulate and document business requirements, processes, and procedures. Recognizing and evaluating inefficiencies to recommend improved work practices and system functionality.

Being responsible for deploying functional solutions. Creating and implementing system test plans to ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.

Creating user and training documentation and delivering training classes.
Using established methodologies and documented procedures to perform assigned tasks.
Determining when to escalate issues to senior team member/manager to ensure effective delivery.
Identifying and actively communicating and documenting opportunities to streamline processes to help the department run efficiently.
Presenting a professional and pleasant image of the product and company.

 

What it takes:
Excellent customer service, communication, and attention to detail.
Effective time management in a busy work environment.
Knowledge of cloud implementation, systems implementation, and troubleshooting on the Microsoft platforms at an administrative level.
Proficiency in Windows networking infrastructures and protocols.
Basic knowledge of IP telephony or telecommunication network protocols.
Proficiency in writing scripts for automation of certain tasks.
Working knowledge of SQL, Exchange, Office, Office 365, SAP, VMWare.
2-3 years of experience in any/all of the following: Professional Services, consulting, systems implementation/systems engineering, technical support experience within an enterprise software company/IT department.
2-3 years of hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft technologies (AD, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, Windows Servers) and/or enterprise cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365, GCP, AWS, etc.)
