THE OPPORTUNITY

The ITSM Consultant will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Service Management solutions for a huge government organization. 

 

YOUR IMPACT

This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization, migrating parts of the company into centralized toolset, supporting the ITSM strategy and ensuring the successful integration of ITSM tools and processes.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Implementation of ITSM tools, configuring and customizing solutions to meet specific organizational needs.

  • Work with a customer who provides vital services for the public

  • Provide guidance on ITIL best practices and ensure alignment with ITSM processes.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate ITSM processes into the overall IT architecture.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies including, but not limited to ITSM and incorporate them into the organization's strategy.

  • Delivery in accordance with Agile SAFE methodology, enable the ongoing transition from waterfall to Agile practices

  • Support the Project Manager with project estimation and planning for ongoing delivery or new scope

  • Lead the customer on expansion of the existing solution to achieve higher value outcomes.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • First experience working as an ITSM Solution Consultant or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of ITSM tools and processes

  • Basic coding skills (preferably Python)

  • Dutch & English language fluency is required

  • ITIL certification is a plus

  • Willingness to undergo a security and background check
