YOUR IMPACT

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, this role requires expertise in producing clear, effective content under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and seek clarification when needed.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Draft, proof, and edit a wide range of internal and external communications supporting business functions such as Human Resources, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I), Corporate Citizenship, Legal, and Finance.
  • Create compelling content for various communication channels, including executive email announcements, presentations, key messaging, intranet sites, newsletters, scripts, employee guides, graphic assets, social media, blogs, and more.
  • Assist with newsletter production and communications distribution as needed.
  • Develop materials for key fundraising and ED&I initiatives.
  • Support key internal events, including town halls and the annual corporate employee event.
  • Develop urgent, business-critical communications, often with little to no lead time.
  • Ensure alignment of content with corporate messaging, brand voice, and design standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 2+ years of internal and/or external communications experience in a mid- to large-sized organization or agency.
  • B.A. in Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with partners across the organization, including senior leaders.
  • Writing samples required.
  • Flexible schedule; some projects may require on-call work during nights and weekends.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

CE QUE LE RÔLE OFFRE

  • Rédiger, corriger et éditer une large gamme de communications internes et externes soutenant des fonctions commerciales telles que les Ressources Humaines, l'Équité, la Diversité et l'Inclusion (ED&I), la Citoyenneté d'entreprise, le Juridique et la Finance.
  • Créer du contenu captivant pour divers canaux de communication, y compris des annonces par email des dirigeants, des présentations, des messages clés, des sites intranet, des bulletins d'information, des scripts, des guides pour les employés, des éléments graphiques, des réseaux sociaux, des blogs, et plus encore.
  • Aider à la production des bulletins d'information et à la distribution des communications selon les besoins.
  • Développer des supports pour des initiatives clés de collecte de fonds et d'ED&I.
  • Soutenir les événements internes clés, y compris les assemblées générales et l'événement annuel des employés de l'entreprise.

  • Plus de 2 ans d'expérience en communications internes et/ou externes dans une organisation ou agence de taille moyenne à grande.
  • Licence en communication, relations publiques, anglais ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Grande capacité à établir des relations avec les partenaires de l'organisation, y compris les cadres supérieurs.
  • Exemples d'écriture requis.
  • Horaires flexibles; certains projets peuvent nécessiter une disponibilité en dehors des heures de bureau, notamment les nuits et les week-ends.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à respecter des délais serrés.
