OpenText Cybersecurity solutions address the Cyber Resilience requirements of Small, Medium and Mid-Market businesses.We lead with solutions that ensure Data Mobility, Security and Protection for customers and partners that help keep their business up and running through unforeseen cyber events. Our organization is growing globally, and we are looking for a key team player to join our experienced Solution Consulting group. 


YOUR IMPACT:

As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for securing technical wins, evangelizing our solutions, and enabling our partners for success in their given markets. You will be familiar with a wide range of IT-related technologies and solutions. We value critical thinking, adaptability, and a positive mental attitude. Our team focuses on driving revenue, and you will be working closely alongside the sales teams. You will establish the pre-sales support requirements for current and prospective customers and partners in this role and will work with Partners, Customers and Sales counterparts to ensure that our systems and solutions meet and exceed customer requirements. You will provide quick and thorough responses to customer requests, demonstrate system features, configuration options and functionality that satisfy business needs. Your working environment will be remote, with some travel to our customer sites and events.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS: 

  • Work closely with Account Executives to clearly communicate and sell the value of OpenText’s products and solutions, into the Strategic accounts space which is comprised of OpenText Cybersecurity’s largest customers. 
  • Develop and conduct technical demonstrations specific to customer requirements. 
  • Respond to and manage the RFP and RFI process.
  • Build and deliver proof of concepts. Assist Account Executives in relationship management, technical sales information/tools development. 
  • Interact with Sales, Global Services and Partners to create and finalize solution offerings and initial Project delivery plans. 
  • Represent OpenText at Trade Shows and industry events.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 5+ years’ experience in a presales technical role.
  • IT data and cyber threat landscape.
  • Expert professional / technical skills 
  • Active Directory, Email Administration, DNS, SMTP
  • Network technologies and topologies, protocols, and administration
  • Encryption and data security techniques.
  • Threat intelligence, detection and response and evasion tactics.
  • Data Security solutions, techniques, and technologies
  • Data Protection solutions, techniques, and technologies
  • Virtualization (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM)
  • Hands-on experience using MS Office365, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, MS Azure
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office and Azure Licensing Tiers
  • GDPR & CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUSTSOC2, PCI (PCS-DSS), ISO 27001, FedRAMP, DKIM/DMARC
