Internal Sales Representative (Boston or Broomfield)

The Opportunity:
The Inside Sales Associate role is responsible for outbound calls to new trial customers and leads. This is a sales position. 

You Are Great At:
•    Managing outbound call volumes, working all leads promptly and taking ownership to achieve required targets  (all leads are generated through our cloud service trials, no cold calling is involved)
•    Processing unqualified inquires to pre-qualified opportunities and document activities within the customer relationship management (CRM) database such as SalesForce or Hubspot
•    Following a customer-oriented approach; understanding the customer need and business goals and be able to educate customers about how our services meet those needs
•    Identifying, developing and closing leads for the business and referring leads internally when appropriate.
•    Moving customers from trial through to sale
•    Maintaining high levels of activity and productivity in a highly autonomous environment
•    Showing resourcefulness in working with cross-functional teams and with some degree of ambiguity
•    Collaborate with cross-functional team to improve processes and share customer trends


What It Takes:
•    1-3 years sales experience in an outbound telephone sales environment; preference given for experience in high tech SaaS sales
•    Excellent sales skills; addressing the needs of both the external and internal customer with strong communication and process skills 
•    Track record of proven success achieving sales targets and driving sales growth
•    Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills
•    Discipline and focus – self-motivation, dedication, and determination to reach out and foster new engagements and relationships.
•    A competitive attitude, and the ability to work with diverse personalities required 
•    Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MSOffice) 
•    Ability to understand and articulate Hightail value propositions.  Experience with creative collaboration and file sharing cloud services helpful, but not required
•    Willingness to acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to trends, new technologies and competitors.

For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
