Lead Consultant - Identity and Access Management


In this role, you will work collaboratively with Identity, Access and Security (IAS) consultants, Managing Principals and Directors to deliver cutting-edge services on client engagements with a world-class team from around the globe. You will be accountable for deploying Identity, Access and Security (IAS) solutions to satisfy client business requirements and assist customers to utilise Identity, Access, and Security (IAS) to its full potential. 


This job isn’t just about installing software and making it work; it’s about delivering the knowledge to our customers so that they can continue to utilise IAS  long after you leave client site. An important aspect of this role is understanding cyber security operations and how to utilise IAS to perform daily cyber security operations tasks.

You are great at

  • Requirements gathering, designing, implementation, and testing of enterprise-level IAS solutions and providing professional quality concepts and documentation to customers
  • Participate in technical engagements and small teams, working with both internal and customer management and delivery teams
  • Work with sales, presales and partners to identify, initiate and qualify new opportunities. Supports sales, presales and partners in opportunities (bid presentations, Request for Proposals, Proof of Concepts)
  • Be able to articulate and present the business and technical value of our Identity and Access Management solutions to clients and partners
  • Actively contribute to IAS solutions providing information ranging from technical knowledge to implementation methodologies, based on previous project experience
  • Act as an expert providing direction and guidance to customers IAS process and policy improvements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation of a professional caliber
  • Be prepared to work remotely or travel to customers’ premises as required

What it takes

  • Experience working within the information and cyber security field
  • Strong implementation skills in at least 5 or more of the following solutions or other vendor equivalent: NetIQ Identity Manager & SSPR , NetIQ Access Manager NetIQ Identity Governance (Access Review) or NetIQ Sentinel
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies will also be considered advantageous: SIEM Solutions, Identity & Access Governance Solutions, Access Management, Federation and Risk Management Solutions, Systems & Application Management, Workload Management technologies, Service Management technologies and knowledge of Identity Management solutions
  • Experience of development within IAM and ISM systems 
  • Experience of custom code and custom drivers within IAM and ISM systems.
  • Ideally experience of Network infrastructure such as Firewalls, IP Switches etc.
  • Experience of customer verticals e.g. Finance, Government, Education, Healthcare
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation, Cloud and hybrid Solutions, SaaS, IDaaS, and other XaaS solutions would be beneficial
