Come and join us as a Senior Service Management Automation Consultant in the Professional Services Emerging Markets team. 
The Senior Service Management Automation Consultant is responsible for installing, configuring, testing and integrating the Open Text Service Management automation solutions in Hybrid Cloud based environments for customers across Middle East, Africa and Central and Eastern Europe.
What it takes 


  • Provides client facing consulting and services related to the creation and delivery of Open Text technology solutions (Service Management automation software), designed to meet customers’ business needs. As trusted advisor creates and maintains effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Works in close cooperation with the technical team, the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
  • Liaises with other technical, support, etc. teams and functions as needed.
  • Provides a high-level technical expertise and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment.
  • Understands a broad spectrum of the company's technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements.
  • Daily tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program; assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings.

You are great at


  • Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; over 5 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Experienced implementing of Service Management Automation Technologies from industry standard vendors (f.e. OpenText IT Service Manager, ServiceNow, etc);
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages, e.g. Python, Bash, Java or others; 
  • Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS), performance monitoring and tuning;
  • Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products;
  • Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem;
  • Innovative, fast learner, and willing to share knowledge;
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, crisis management, and problem-solving skills.


  • Experienced implementing OpenText own solutions including SMAX, ITSM, UCMDB, etc.;
  • Experienced implementing Cloud automation solutions like Jenkins, Ansible, OO, CSA;
  • Other ITOM solution expertise for example in the monitoring or automation space;
  • Containerization technologies: Kubernetes, Docker or similar;
  • Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, etc;
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment;
  • Experience in production 24/7 high-availability multi-cloud-based IaaS environments;
  • Experience with Networking protocols, routing, firewalls, etc.
