The Opportunity

 

Become a member of our Brava & Blazon agile development team, providing viewing, transformation, annotation & redaction services to world class on-premise and cloud applications. All of the projects involved have performance and stability requirements, thus a great importance is placed on code quality and thoroughness in design. The developer will be working with UX/UI best practices; and it is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.

 

You are great at:

 

• Developing new features and maintaining existing features.

• Developing and re-factoring code for high performance, scalability and security.
• Participating in the design and implementation of applications spanning multiple components and processes.
• Providing assistance to other developers on-site and off-site.
• Providing assistance to customer support, documentation and quality assurance as needed.
• Participating in the software development process from design to release to ensure that everything done is coordinated to solve a customer problem.

 

What it takes:

 

Mandatory
• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise software for large and medium businesses.
• Experience developing and debugging software on various operating systems (Windows, Linux, and UNIX).
• Experience with web technologies, specifically: JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX and CSS
• Excellent ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with SQL, (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, HANA)
• Experience with XML, XSL, RESTful API’s.
• Experience with Java development
• Familiar with multi-lingual support (Unicode)
• Familiar with source code control systems (Teamcity, Artifactory, git, etc.)

 

Preferred


•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.  

•Javascript Frameworks such as Backbone, Marionette, Handlebars, require.js, node.js, underscore

•Familiar with API design and best practises
•Experience with dojo

•Familiar with mobile and offline app development
•Familiar with scalable system design.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Excellent inter-personal skills.
Positive and professional attitude.

•Experience with eclipse

•Unit Testing

•Object Orient Design
