The Opportunity

Join us in defining the future of Extended Detection and Response(XDR), Network Detection and Response(NDR), and Endpoint Detection and Response(EDR)! Opentext is looking for a full-time Lead Software Engineer to join our development team to support the continued development of our Bricata NDR Solution and Analytics Platform (Bricata - Network Detection & Response. Analytics. Threat Hunting). The individual will be responsible for the design, development and support of new functionality for the Bricata Sensor, CMC and other applications as needed.

Opentext is looking for a full-time Lead Software Engineer to join our development team to support the continued development of our Bricata Analytics platform. The Individual will be responsible for the design, development and support of new functionality for the Bricata Sensor, CMC and other applications as needed.

What It Takes

• Strong and demonstratable knowledge of advanced C and C++ with an emphasis of C14 and templates, a minimum of 7 years development experience.
• Strong and demonstratable knowledge of Linux application development, including experience developing Kernel Drivers, hardware, chip speed, L2 cache
• Strong and demonstratable knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, TLS
• The ability to work independently and deliver on time

Desired Skills

• Experience with Zeek (aka Bro-Ids)
• Experience with Suricata and or SNORT
• Experience developing and deploying large scale Elasticsearch systems
• Web development
• Development experience with Golang or Python
• Familiarity with Redis
• Database experience PostgreSQL or other

Estimated Base Salary $130,000 $195,000 USD
