Senior Solutions Consultant (m/f/d) - On Demand Messaging

Primary Purpose:

 

The Senior Solutions Consultant (m/f/d) position is a position instrumental in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise-level solutions with opentext for commercial and end-user applications. This position requires strong collaboration with sales, partners, and customers; and will be working with multiple platforms, tools and a variety of opentext cloud solutions and on-premise technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who strive to solve real-life business and technology problems through implementation of enterprise software, cloud solutions (SaaS/PaaS); and enjoy acquiring hands-on skills and experience with new technologies. Strong customer focus, sales and international customer relationship bias combined with language skills and solid technical background in network, operating system, security, use and application of web services APIs. Many of our solutions involve integration with Microsoft, SAP, SFDC, Tibco etc. So an ability to be adaptable and learn new technologies is essential.

Knowledge of Fax integration, telephony techniques, email and SMS delivery techniques and APIs.

 

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
 
•    Solution Architecture
•    Cloud Security advisor
•    Advisor to sales and Product Management
•    Pre-sales demonstration, design of implementations of opentext products (cloud notification services (email, sms and fax), Cloud Security, network design, micro-services API, understanding customer use cases for high volume email notifications and tracking).
•    Support and work with senior sales people and C-Level customers in pre-sales and sales phase as lead technical communicator.
•    Acquire specific knowledge and develop domain expertise relating to industry best practices, available/competing technologies and regulatory compliance for healthcare, financial, legal and manufacturing verticals.
•    Work with users to formulate and document business requirements. Identify, investigate, and analyze business processes, procedures and work practices. Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices, and system functionality and behavior.
•    Conduct formal training classes.
•    Assist and drive programs focusing on strategic application/technology alliance with opentext products and integration partners program.
•    Participates in general consultation, technical sales support and project management activities. 
•    Provide excellent presales and post-sales support for customers and partners, as needed.
•    Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants, as appropriate. 
•    European travel will be necessary – up to 50% travel may be required for sales meetings and solution design workshops.

 

Technical and Functional Skills Required:    

 

•    Expert knowledge with networking and telco (VoIP/FoIP) infrastructure.
•    Expert knowledge with cloud implementation, and systems implementation and troubleshooting with Microsoft platform.
•    Deep understanding and practical knowledge of Windows Networking and Infrastructure to MSCE level, latest cloud technologies.
•    Software development experience is not necessary but knowledge of .Net or Java development, particularly using REST and SOAP web services APIs is desirable.
•    Prior experience implementing and supporting business software and enterprise solutions.
•    Minimum of 10 years Prior experience working within Services, Solutions or Consulting environment required.

•    Customer service focused, enjoys interfacing with customers on a regular basis (phone and in-person).
•    Exceptional written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
•    Exceptional problem solver, able to work independently on specialized/strategic assignments, and able to make key technical/project decisions leading to positive project outcomes.
•    Strong desire to acquire new knowledge and expand technical proficiencies in a variety of technology and platforms. Ability to learn and acquire new skills quickly.
•    Self starter; ability to work independently as well as in groups settings with minimum supervision; be a strong contributor within a team environment. Provide technical mentorship to other team members and guidance to external team members as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

•    Seven years of systems implementation and support experience within an enterprise software company.
•    5+ years of business analytics and enterprise software/solution consultation experience required.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience required.
