The Opportunity

The SMBC Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to help improve the efficiency and efficacy of marketing efforts. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Technology, Analytics & Campaign Operations, you will be the subject matter expert on key marketing processes and technologies within the martech stack.  You will set up and triage various marketing efforts, including digital and non-digital campaigns on a global scale. 

 

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring both strategic and tactical execution as well as strong program management. You have developed processes for high growth marketing organizations with exceptional problem-solving skills and can work closely with cross-functional team members. You are a growth driver, someone who not only supports the needs of the team, but a person who thrives on identifying and chasing opportunities to accelerate the business.


 

You Are Great At

  • Participate in cross-functional teams providing Marketo and Salesforce expertise on issues involving marketing efforts and efficacy
  • Perform lead triage to ensure leads are flowing and scoring correctly
  • Examine current campaign usage to help optimize or retire campaigns and tactics within Marketo/Salesforce
  • Creating and documenting processes to ensure your audience is best using the tools and reports available to them
  • Ensuring that underlying data is maintained for campaign integrity
  • Acting as a self-starter with exceptional critical thinking abilities
  • Quickly understanding interrelationships between numbers and business operations. You can interpret the “why” and the “how” behind the data
  • Proficiency in tracking down issues that arise between applications within the martech stack
  • Work both independently and within a team setting
  • Adjust to rapidly-changing business priorities and challenges – you thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment

 

 

What It Takes

  • 5+ years marketing operations experience - B2B preferred
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce & Marketo (or other marketing automation) in campaign setup and tracking
  • Experience tracking down lead flow issues
  • Experience integrating applications within multiple martech stacks into single instance
  • A sense of humor. We believe work should be rewarding, and we like to have fun!

 

 

 

This job is expected to pay in the range of $99,500 to $149,000 base salary as well as an annual company-based performance bonus in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
