Your Impact
As a Principal Solutions Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of OpenText's IoT and Identity Management solutions across Europe. By leading the technical qualification, solution design, and project proposal phases, you'll directly support the Sales and Presales teams in expanding the OpenText Business Network services portfolio. Your expertise will be crucial in developing customer-specific proof of concepts, providing ongoing technical support, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to solution implementation and operations. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, and implementation teams to drive product development and innovation.

You’ll have the chance to make a significant impact by influencing product development and driving innovation within IoT and Identity Management solutions. The position also provides the opportunity to work closely with high-profile clients across various industries, including retail, automotive, life sciences, and manufacturing. Regular travel within Europe will be a part of this role, allowing you to build strong relationships and provide on-the-ground support to customers.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or a delivery role within IoT and Identity Management solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of supply chain and logistics business processes across industries such as retail, CPG, automotive, high tech, life sciences, and manufacturing.
- Customer Consulting: Proven experience consulting with customers at all levels, from operational staff to CxO, and the ability to understand and analyze customer needs to develop and present appropriate solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and other related technologies.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, SDKs, and authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2, SAML, etc.
- Experience in web application development and understanding of core security concerns.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies and data communication.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and fluency in English (additional European language proficiency is a plus).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Mindset: A team-oriented attitude combined with the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
