Carbonite / Webroot, an OpenText company, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to be based in Ireland, joining our EMEA based Revenue Operations team. 

 

We need someone to provide general day to day support for our in-region sales team – with a strong focus on order fulfillment. As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to use your excellent data entry and organizational skills along with your strong interpersonal skills to fill and troubleshoot orders and system issues. You will guide and advise sales on best practices, focus on improving sales productivity, review and process new, renewal and upsell orders. In addition, you will support deal registrations and approvals for our SMBC business. You will work closely with multiple internal groups including direct and channel sales teams, IT, Finance, and Accounting. We are looking for someone who understands the sales lifecycle, QTC processes and finally, we are looking for someone who is a quick learner, who can jump straight in and is not afraid to ask questions.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

Responsibilities

  • Order entry for all business sales in region with an emphasis on ensuring all company guidelines are adhered to. Excellent attention to detail is critical to succeed in this role
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies
  • Provide support to regional sales team by answering questions and addressing issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Answer and address inbound inquiries from channel partners as it relates to order fulfillment, employing prioritization and time management techniques to maximize efficiency
  • Complete first line technical investigations on licensing and order issues and resolve (as it relates to order fulfillment)
  • Gain proficiency with internal tools such as Salesforce.com, and custom-built systems for licensing and product
  • Identify and report unique scenarios and raise to Team Lead for discussion and resolution
  • Operates under direct supervision with frequent reviews of work, and at times with minimal supervision
  • Special projects as needed

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Salesforce.com experience required
  • Experience of sales operations, order fulfillment, customer support, or partner support/enablement
  • Detail orientated and attention to detail a must
  • Experience learning complex internal systems and gaining proficiency quickly
  • Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up your sleeves”
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple departments and externally with customers
  • Occasionally may need to work late at month and quarter end
  • Excellent organizational skills to monitor and prioritize multiple activities at once
  • Communication skills – Excellent verbal and written skills, for internal and external stakeholders (sales, customers, etc.)
  • Team player – Realize that you are part of a regional team, ability to integrate onto the team and work well with others
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Customer facing experience with a positive, customer service attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
