YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior Account Executive in the Public Sector at OpenText, you will be a key player in driving the digital transformation of our customers. Your role is pivotal in helping customers navigate the complexities of the digital world by leveraging our cutting-edge information management solutions. By understanding their unique challenges and needs, you will guide them towards solutions that accelerate growth, enhance efficiency, and reduce risks. Your influence extends to C-level executives, where your insights and judgment will earn their trust and help them achieve their strategic goals.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Engage in consultative selling by deeply listening to your customers and crafting solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans that align with your sales goals and customer needs.
• Identify opportunities within your territory and convert them into successful sales, driving growth for both your clients and OpenText.
• Skillfully manage each phase of the sales process, from pipeline generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and successful journey for your customers.
• Deliver compelling client presentations and conduct effective meetings, clearly articulating the value of our solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to bring the best solutions to your clients, ensuring they receive the support and expertise they need.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and the latest developments in B2B sales methodologies to maintain your competitive edge.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Proven track record of at least five years in B2B selling across the enterprise sector, with a focus on complex, cloud-based, on-premises, or hybrid solutions.
• Experience working consultatively with C-level customers, understanding their business challenges, and providing tailored solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the B2B buying process, including insights into key competitors and industry trends.
• Expertise in deploying advanced sales methodologies and tools to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• A passion for identifying and developing new business opportunities, whether in new accounts or within your existing client base.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly grasp new products and solutions, bringing innovative ideas to your customers.
• Completed post-secondary education and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
SALARY STATEMENT
This job is expected to pay a minimum base of $134,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
